[Sticky] Next patchs/updates
I'll post more info about R8r when I have more things defined.
I dont think that the gems will be transferable, would have to test it tho. The idea is to use the existing service from 2 NPCs located in Cromagnon Village that were removed.
For the add-ons, I think that initially i'll leave them as they are. Maybe a small boost for some/all AA classes, but not defined yet. It will be probably be changed tho later on, but mostly the set bonus add-ons.
I've also just posted this thread about HDD that is related to R8R.
Why would you take away the defence level set bonus of seekers, seekers base their attack on defence levels not attack levels your making seekers useless
Its like that for a reason. Majority of seekers usually get 1 def level weapon for maximum defense, and then one GoF weapon to transfer over to once Sac is ready. Currently a full buff seeker (including other defense buffs ect) are really tanky as they should be, but we didn't want to make them over tanky. Right now they seem fine as is. I would suggest making a secondary weapon for defense levels and one for GoF if you haven't done so already. Though in the future if its required that seekers need their add-on's altered for whatever reason. It can be done, but only if its really required.
If anything don't take it as a nerf, They did get a boosted attack level for compensation. Which in the end if you had the def it would simply transfer to the attack with Sac. We'll continue to monitor PK as we see it and see if anything needs to be changed or not for the future

I highly agree with i think you have made a major mistake with the r8r bonus for HA as most of these classes are made to tank attack level is no help to any of them as i've just finshed doing my barb and a barb with all attack level and extra crit just doesnt work. i would prefer the def level and change the crit to maybe accuracy.
Sol have you ever played a seeker????
Seekers QPQ is there for them to tank while being debuffed that they can use it against the enemy.
taking away the seekers defence levels are like taking away an assassin tidalwave, they are useless against it if you want a server without heavy classes just take them out of the game dont make them worse than light armor.
Hi there is it possible for a GM to please give response to the posts that was made.
Just to know were we stand on the matter since we are waiting for response form any GM but would like to know what Vix thinks on the points that was made.
Short answer: it's highly likely that there will be some modifications regarding some set bonus Def Lvls.
Having said that, the reason there has not been a concrete answer, is because of the way I generally decide such changes: Once I am set to start working on the next update, I gather all the feedback, thoughts and comments, sort them out by importance and ease of implementation, and then analyze it all and try to arrive at a reasonable and coherent set of changes. Some of these potential changes sometimes cannot be implemented because of technical reasons, and/or sometimes have unintentional side effects.
So that is why I tend to not confirm any changes which are not trivial since I don't want to commit to stating things which could easily end not happening.
Vix are you also able to confirm if the r8r purify is fixed as i think its just the stormbringer Proc rate isn't working as we have tested with a mystic and venos and there's seems to be fine. i have rerolled another r8r wep to confirm it but doesnt proc any were as much as my 2nd cast lunar wep.
Gonna check that for next update and fix it if its necessary.
Because Venos are the arcane class which is most different from the other arcane classes, and imo giving them 15 def levels would make them too tanky. Could be wrong though.
It would probably be worth a try I guess 😀 But as it is right now, n2 is probably still better than r8r. I'd better take the 18 def lvl from the n2 than -24% channelling I get from the r8r one. I could be wrong as well.
You'll get more defense with R8R just because the damage reduction stat. Not to mention you can edit your ad-dons with R8R on every gear piece. Initially you could become even more tanky, or simply get more channel for more DD aspect. R8r is a better choice overall though, the HP does make a difference especially if you have your primal passives completed. You also receive more attack in general.
